Can You Use Hypnosis for Sales?

Over the years, one of the most interesting questions I’ve been asked is:

“How do I Hypnotize someone to buy my stuff?”

The question isn’t occupation specific, but I remember the first guy to ask was a Realtor – Mark.

I said, “That’s not how hypnosis works. What’s the problem with your sales?”

He said, “I’m new to Real Estate and I don’t feel confident in myself.”

I said, “I don’t think you want to hypnotize them. What you really want is to be more confident in yourself so people feel comfortable around you and they like you.”

Mark said, “Yeah, that’s exactly right!”

I said, “Who’s the most confident Realtor you know?”

Mark said, “My Senior Broker Margaret.”

I said, “Do people trust her?”

Mark said, “Yes.”

I said, “What’s the reason they trust her?”

Mark said, “She knows what she’s doing.”

I said, “Do you know what you’re doing?”

Mark said, “Well, yeah, sure!”

I said, “So Margaret knows what she’s doing and people trust her because she’s confident in her skills…”

“What if I hypnotize you to be more self-confident just like her? What do you think that would that do for your sales?”

He said, “I think they’d go up!”

I said, “I think you’re right! When people trust you, they become your friends. Who would you rather do business with? A complete stranger? Or a trusted friend?”

So Mark booked a hypnotherapy session and we worked on boosting his self-confidence so he could sell more and make more money.

Over time, people kept asking me that same question – “How do I hypnotize someone to buy my stuff?”

And I created a better answer. Based on my work in hypnosis and hypnotherapy – I developed a sales training that helps people be more self-confident – so they can connect and communicate on an emotionally intelligent, genuine level – to create a friendship – a meaningful relationship – with the people they meet.

Meaningful relationships is where the money is.
