Colin Christopher hypnotizing Chicken and Santa

Christmas Party Entertainment: Santa vs. Chicken – You never know what kind of fun entertainment you’ll get with a hypnotist at your corporate party

Being an entertainer involves travel. For example, corporate events over the last month have taken me across Canada from Calgary to Vancouver back to Toronto and Edmonton.

During my last Christmas party entertainment season I flew 8 times and drove almost 10,000 km.

People who haven’t been at a corporate party with a hypnotist ask: “What are you going to do?”

And I say: “As an experienced Stage Hypnotist I have a really good idea of what I’m going to do and you can see some videos of that on my website. At the same time, I also have to be flexible, because I never know who is going to be on stage or what they’re going to do. For example, at a corporate Christmas party in Grande Prairie I once had a guy dressed as a chicken and another guy dressed as Santa Clause!”

Their choice in fashion had nothing to do with me – they showed up at the party dressed like that… And you better believe they decided to get hypnotized!

During the show, when the timing was right, I said: “Who’s seen ‘Family Guy’ on TV? Who thinks it might be time for a Family Guy showdown… Santa vs. Chicken?”

The audience cheered and all kinds of people shouted: “Yes!”

We didn’t recreate the classic Peter Griffin vs. Chicken fight exactly… no one threw any punches. But let’s just say Santa and Chicken had some choice words for each other!

The audience went wild! They loved it.

If you’re looking for good entertainment ideas – Santa vs. Chicken is at the top of my list.

I credit my quick thinking and timing on stage to performing Improv Theatre in University. I honed my skills in weekly Theatre Sports shows with Rapid Fire Theatre and that experience really helps me adjust my hypnosis shows based on audience reactions and what my volunteers are doing.

Thinking on my feet makes for a great corporate party.

Although it helps when people dress up!
